Joel Holland, CEO
I’m the CEO of Harvest Hosts, and I absolutely love the RV community! My wife and I have RV’d through all of the lower 48 states, visiting incredible Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome locations along the way. I am the biggest fan of our product! We are based in Vail, Colorado, and enjoy getting outside as much as possible. When I’m not working, I enjoy volunteering as a member of Vail Mountain Rescue, the search and rescue team for Eagle County, CO.

I’m the Chief of Staff at Harvest Hosts, and I also oversee our Host Relations team. I spend a lot of my time thinking about how we can improve the Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome experience for our Members and Hosts, which is a dream job. I live in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with my wife and two daughters and love getting outside and teaching my two daughters about travel and the great outdoors.

Hi! I’m HaRVey the Harvest Hosts Alpaca! I actually live on the Funny Farm in Unalaska Island, AK. A fun fact about me is that I make the Funny Farm a funny farm, because I specialize in dad jokes! Since I normally live in Alaska, my favorite place to travel is to a sunny beach, but only when I’m freshly shorn. Leigh Ann Schultz, CFO
I oversee our Enablement teams, including Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and Customer Service. I have worked in Big 4 Public Accounting at Ernst & Young, a variety of senior-level finance industry roles, management consulting primarily with Alix Partners, and the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and Exchange Commission. I am also the audit committee chair of a publicly-traded telecommunications company. I bring my diverse experience to enable our teams at Harvest Hosts. Outside of work, I am an avid outdoors person. My husband and I own an Airstream and have ventured throughout the U.S. staying at many of our host locations. In addition, we recently completed a marathon in all 50 states. Together, we have three young adult children

I was raised in the mountains of Colorado and recently relocated to Texas where I reside with my husband, kids and our dog Milo. My family and I love spending time with our loved ones, finding new places to eat, off-roading in Utah and going stand up paddling in the lake.

Favorite place I’ve been so far is Thailand and Guatemala. In Thailand I went scuba diving, and it was the best experience of my life. I love Guatemala because of the food, beautiful cities, and culture.

Hi, I’m John! I’m a Lead Software Engineer here at Harvest Hosts with a background in full-stack web development and native and hybrid mobile app development. I grew up in Colorado and love the Rocky Mountains and all they have to offer. I live outside of Denver with my girlfriend, Alexis, and our two dogs, Clay and Ellie.

I always love visiting the Pacific Northwest, especially in the fall, to experience all of the different colors. Abroad, it would be really fun to take a few weeks to travel throughout Italy!

Stephen Huffnagle, Lead Software Engineer
Up to this point, my travel experiences are mostly limited to places in the US, but I’ve also been to a couple of countries in Europe and Central America (some of my favorites have been Austria and Belize). At Harvest Hosts, I work as a senior engineer mostly doing web-development-related things. So far I’ve gotten the opportunity to work on several impactful projects on the host satisfaction side, as well as the exciting new mobile app!

So far, my favorite travel destination has been Banff national park in Canada. If you’re into hiking or anything outdoorsy, I’d highly recommend it.

I’m a Full Stack Software Engineer at HH. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the mountains skiing, mountain biking, hunting, and fishing. For overnight trips, when I’m not sleeping in my hammock, I’m in my Four Wheel Camper slide-in truck camper.

I spend my free time either cycling (mountain biking and road) or with my dog. I don’t have any personal RV experience yet, but I definitely have that nomad gene in my DNA. I’ve traveled all over the country and lots of interesting places internationally. I could see myself (and the dog) roaming the country in the near future.

I’m the Sr. Business Development Manager at Harvest Hosts and bring a background of sales, business development and hospitality to the team. Growing companies and coaching is my passion, and I’m very excited to help expand the Harvest Hosts’ host network.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Manhasset, NY just outside the “Big Apple”, I fled to the Rocky Mountains the day I graduated college and have called Frisco, CO home ever since. Enjoying the great outdoors with my husband, Daric, and my little girls, Susie and Jojo, helps me stay motivated and successful.

With an extensive background in all things digital marketing, I am thrilled to focus on leading demand generation efforts on the hosts side here at Harvest Hosts. I’m a data-driven nerd who has a passion for growth marketing, and I am happy to be surrounded by other purpose-driven professionals. Originally from Minnesota (and then Ohio), I put down roots near the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee with my husband and three children. With a son and twin daughters, we don’t have much down time. I love to play the guitar, drive fast cars and adopt dogs (we currently have three).

Angela “Angie” Helms, Account Executive, Host Relations
I’m one of the Account Executives and I am from the Charlotte, NC area. I grew up traveling the 48 states and Canada in a RV. Some of my best childhood memories are camping and watching my parents use the moon for east/west directions (before GPS).
I majored in history education but headed to the Leisure/Corporate Travel Management arena as well as Event Manager/Director. I’m excited to be working with Harvest Hosts and my goal is to give others the opportunities of amazing moments, memories and the love of travel, nature and beauty and hopefully meeting interesting people along the way.

Jesse Doll, Account Executive, Host Relations
Jesse grew up in Kansas but moved to Colorado as soon as he could. After graduating from the University of Denver in 2009, he relocated to the Vail area of the Rocky Mountains and immediately fell in love with the outdoor lifestyle. You’ll find Jesse mountain biking, snowboarding, golfing, camping or doing just about any activity that involves the outdoors.

Ryan Worthen, Account Executive, Host Relations
Creative, ambitious, and service minded, Ryan Worthen comes to Harvest Hosts with years of experience in the hospitality industry. A recent transplant to WI, Ryan moved to the midwest from Colorado to pursue a life of “livin the dream” surrounded by family. Luckily, Ryan along with his wife Sara, are always up for an adventure because they just welcomed twins – Ruth & Brooks. Ryan is a classically trained chef. He has an all-natural wood-burning grill restaurant in the mountains of Colorado. When he’s not cooking or entertaining friends, you’ll find him on the river or mushroom foraging – anything outside. Ryan will tell you if you’re going to have a dog make it two, big furry ones, like his Rowan and Lovie.

Rachel Taylor, Sr. Operations Coordinator
Hello, I’m Rachel! I live in Central Kentucky. I have multiple music degrees but since joining the Harvest Hosts team in June of 2020, I have learned to love all things RV travel. While I do not currently own an RV, I have done extensive traveling across Ontario and the eastern half of the US. I have visited nine countries on three continents to date and look forward to adding to that number in the near future.

I am from the mitten state of Michigan and proud to live by such beautiful inland lakes and landscape. We have over 300 acres of cherry trees on our centennial family farm and a winery where we celebrate the sunsets over Lake Michigan with our wine and hard cider! Being outside is where I am happiest with my husband and twin boys. We love to camp, hike, and travel as much as possible. We rarely sit still and are very active!

I met my husband while working at a local surf shop and teaching stand-up paddleboard lessons together. We both love surfing and during the summer months, you can find us hitting the waves at Assateague Island National Park on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, where we currently live.
In my free time, I enjoy indulging in my favorite hobbies, which include reading, taking care of my 40 houseplants, and watching movies. I also love taking long walks with our dog Stella and discovering all the beauty that nature has to offer.

I was lucky enough to join Harvest Hosts as part of the Boondockers Welcome merger. I am thrilled to be able to join the Marketing team at Harvest Hosts to continue my passion for the Boondockers Welcome and RV community. My husband and I were full-time RVers for about two years, traveling to 24 states and three provinces. I now live in Colorado where we continue to enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with our pets.

I’m originally from San Diego, CA, and moved to Denver in 2012 to be closer to the mountains. I love outdoor pursuits and am an avid snowboarder, photographer, and rock climber. Since 2020, my girlfriend and I have been living part-time out of our converted sprinter van and trying to see as much of the country as possible (especially new ski areas). Shawn, CX Manager II
I am the Member Success Manager here at Harvest Hosts and love helping our Members and our Hosts on a daily basis! My family and I have a 29′ bunkhouse travel trailer that we use as much as we can! We are officially weekend warriors but can sneak in some longer trips during the summer. Just in 2021, we traveled to 13 states and ten National Parks!

Glacier National Park is by far the most beautiful place I have ever seen, and I cannot wait to go back sometime! We are looking forward to exploring the East Coast in 2022!

Brenda, Customer Success Representative
I am a Mom and a Grandma! My husband’s family had a yearly “family camping extravaganza” and would travel all over Michigan and the Upper Peninsula camping. Some had RVs, some had pop-ups or tents, and some of us stayed in the cabins. We have a very close-knit family because of those trips. Sure, there was the occasional bump in the road, but that’s just part of being a family. Spending days and weeks with your in-laws for some people could be rough, but I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. Camping brings people together.

I have always wanted to go to Tahiti and stay in those little huts over the water! I just haven’t figured out how to get there by RV yet. 😉

I work on the Member service team, helping Members navigate the program and start their adventures. I have traveled in an RV throughout the Northwest as well as with family in Arizona.
